Privacy & cookies.

This page explains how information is handled on firstsitting.agency, the First Sitting restaurant web design website.

Your enquiries

The enquiry form prepares a draft on your device. It does not automatically submit the information to us. If you send a draft using your email app, your email provider handles that message. Cloudflare routes messages sent to our branded email address to our business inbox so we can respond. The form’s names, email addresses, restaurant details and message text are not included in our analytics events.

Optional analytics

When you choose “Allow analytics”, we use it to understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed and interactions such as viewing pricing or preparing an enquiry draft. It uses information about your browser, device and approximate location. Google processes this information to provide analytics reports.

Analytics is disabled until you allow it. We do not enable Google advertising signals or personalised advertising. Declining analytics does not affect the website or enquiry form. Analytics reports cover consenting visitors and may also be affected by browser blocking.

Cookies and your choice

We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage for up to 180 days. When you allow analytics, Google’s _ga cookies can recognise visits; this website sets a 90-day cookie duration that may be renewed when you visit. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops further collection by this website and clears its Google Analytics cookies. It does not remove information already processed by Google.

Google’s privacy policy explains its processing. Its Analytics opt-out tool offers another browser-level control.

Hosting and other services

Vercel hosts this website and may process technical request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure it. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request from your browser. Search Console provides reports about how the website appears in Google Search; it does not add a visitor-tracking script to this website.
